CURRENCY

The official currency of the UAE region is the Arab Emirates Dirham (AED or Dhs). Dirhams are divided equally into 100 fils.

The Arab Emirates Dirham is one of the most stable currencies holding constant against the US Dollar at an average of 3.67.

All international credit and debit cards are widely accepted in the UAE. With the bonus that currency exchanges are generally open until late in the evening.

All banks operate from 8.00am to 1.00pm, Saturday through to Wednesday. 8.00am to 12.00 noon on Thursday.
